I believe that have a SET time table of what they are going to do with TMac. Whether it's to trade him at the end or not, they don't want a Chris Webber on their hands (though he seems to move pretty well so far). I don't expect more minutes for a few more weeks when the schedule is more friendly.

adelman gave tmac some playing time gift cards for x-mas that said:

Entitles you to an additional minute of playing time in some future game.*

    * - Not to be combined with current routine of playing 7 - 8 minutes in the first half.

The Rockets cannot risk McGrady having a setback before he is traded. Simple as that. This isn't "rocket" science.

RA said that he wants to see if he can play? If he couldn't play he wouldnt of had 10 pts 3ast and 1reb in only 7-8 min

Before the last back to back he said it is gonna change after those 2 games. Now he says this.

But I am sure something will be different since tonight. I still hope Tracy is traded.

I don't care what Mac or RA say, they don't like each other. Adelman probably despises Tracy to an unlimited extent. And Tracy probably thinks Adelman is a douch bag who's out to get him.

I think he is just in the wrong situation really.

A well coached team that plays hard, plays tough and never gives up.

No wonder T Mac feels out of place.

Still am befuddled that people think it's personal...
He hasn't shown that he is back to his old self yet even in any of those 8 minute "cameos".
Only game he has been close was against the Clippers. And really is that an accomplishment?

To Tracy McGrady, 8 good minutes against the Clips is an accomplishment.

    Kobe can keep his titles!

Among Tradey fanboys, their favorite Tradey accomplishment happened in 35 seconds.

I liked the stat line showing that no one can dominate Christmas Day games like T Mac.

I just hope he is done before the playoffs roll around. I enjoyed watching the Rockets play in the second round of the playoffs!

In the particular game that you are talking about, the majority of his points came off of jump shots. He does not have any elevation on his drives, no explosion, no lateral quickness. Running back on defense, he refuses to pick up the the opposing ball handler on the break.

Essentially, his 10pt 3ast, 1 reb in 8 minutes is fine and dandy, was mainly 1 dimensional. If he would have played longer, adjustments could be made to stop a jump shooter.
