People forget the Rockets were looking like another team McGrady was leading to the lottery until CD traded for Wesley and Barry.
No one is saying JVG is a GOD. But he is definitely well respected voice not only to Rocket fans but also the NBA. Secondly, we took Dallas to game 7 in his first series he was here. We all know the conspiracy theories about that correct? Yes we should have beaten the Jazz in game 7 when we had home court We didnt have Yao the year after that but still took a far SUPERIOR Jazz team to 6 games AND We would have still gotten to the second round against the Blazers if T-Mac was playing And you are trying to tell me that we would have the same success if we still had Cat, Francis and Cato? GTFOH. Tracy McGrady has made this franchise better and can still make the current team we have better.
You act like Wesley and Barry were huge names? I mean regardless they did succeed for that season but after that they were a wash.
in a word. . . YES! Steve and Cat were and improving back Court Jim Jackson was still playing hard And Cato was a suckie Center but a Decent Power forward Steve, Cat and Cato were on the way to the playoffs on the Team TMAC left [quit on and had a 21 win season with] until the GM got cute and decided to trade Cat for a Worthless Doug Christie AM I LYING???? Other than 1 game in that 4-1 Series with the Lakers the Rockets were giving them all they could handle Hell, Inexperience was why we lost Game 1 more than anything so you . . . GTFOH. Another Year together. . . D*mn right the Rockets would have been contending for years Rocket River HOW EVAH!! . . This is about TWack and Not SF3, Cat and Cato
How do you figure that? TBoth were players running on their last legs. If anything it's a poor reflection on McGrady and the savior image that's been heaped on him by his fanatics. The Rockets were a playoff team before he was here, they will continue to be when he leaves.
D*mn Right! Speak the Truth and shame the Devil. Rocket River still waiting to get on the T-Mac Hater List
You know, the referendum on the Tracy years is all fine and good, but to act like he uniformly sucked here is garbage.
Heart of a Warrior. Thats whats up McGrady. Let them know you want to get out there and play. Thats what I'm talking about. He had micro-fracture surgery and is telling coach look i want to play. Thats the warrior and attitude this team needs. He has the heart of a champion ...Now I bet if it was Yao instead of McGrady and he said this then Yao would have been praised all week. SMH McGrady is the truth but as much as I believe in him I think he needs to take it slow. In his head yeah he is going to think he is ready but when he plays its a different story. RA dealt with it b4 with Webber. McGrady hasn't dealt with this b4. Experience over anything is the key.
I can't believe McGrady is tired of Cameo, is he also tired of Earth, Wind and Fire? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iknEJf9cPeY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iknEJf9cPeY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Thanks. The question is where do we go from here. The biggest thing with TMAC to me is . .. we simply cannot resign him. I would not resign him for more than 6~8 million and year and I don't see him taking that little. Too many variables with him to lock in 10+ Mil/year on. So since we cannot IMO resign him. All we can hope for is something decent in Trade Even in that I am not interesting in losing games or limiting other player's development to help TMAC get a new contract *chuckle* Good One Rocket River
I was in Dallas for the last Rox/Mavericks game, and until that game I was really pushing for TMac to stay with Houston. But when I saw him doing the same things this article describes in person - not warming up with the team, not getting n the huddles, acting like he didn't give a damn about the team - I changed my mind.
Even with Budinger healthy, Ariza was getting big minutes. Oh, and we turned down the greatest of all the great wing players (Von Wafer) even though he was very cheap. Clearly Adelman and Morey prefer Ariza to Wafer, therefore we can never criticize Ariza. BTW, I'm not defending Ariza, he is what he is, a solid role and MLE player. Just fun to expose DD's contradictions so easily.
Wait, how are you not on it already? I loved TMac when he was kicking ass, now you can put me on the hater list too.
