RV, it is not relevent to this discussion, I am sorry I don't conform to the way you want conversations to go. But, if you want to discuss the thread topic, of Tmac and his frustration at cameos or not having earned more playing time. Feel free....that is what this thread is about.....you know. DD
That deal was never done, might not even have been on the table because NJ wanted back a young guy too, like who they got in Courtney Lee.
Ok, lets assume it wasn't a done deal. How do you explain why he announced the surgery during the height of the trade discussion? ESPN practically posted the trade was about to happen and minutes later they announced Mcgrady was going to have surgery???
With this hungry ass One look at you and it's a lazy pass I've got a hungry ass I feel the Magic wont take T-Mac back
aren't you talking about 2nd chances? just answer the damn question. you think the fact that you can fit your big head in a video doesn't mean only your insight matters..
Of course T-mac has a reason to be frustrated, but should he show to the public that he is? No. Simple as that.
LOL - and that is going to make me answer a question.....no....my big head will be in a video soon, I look forward to the day you have the nads to take the risk and put yourself out there for the world to see....and critique. As for the topic.....Tmac has had enough chances...2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.....enough..... I am done giving him any more chances, his chance card is all used up.... DD
So your own personal experiences with injuries and returning to play basketball are not relevant when you're attempting to evaluate another person who is coming back from injury to play ball? If that's not relevant then your own personal knowledge of basketball, which should be purely based on your own personal experiences, shouldn't be relevant either, but you have no problem using that, do you?
He's really on his high horse lately. He recommended that someone should be given a timeout for stating first that Von failed his physical LOL
I sure did, if he was lying about it, he should have been banned....but he was not lying, and I said I owed him an apology. I ain't going away...TMac is a cancer, if he wants to play he has to conform and play hard all the time, since he is not doing that...he should sit. DD
I think he's looked really promising since his comeback. I think you are frustrated that he has been good and you haven't been able to criticize him so when this b.s. article came out it was your opportunity to jump on it and claim, "See i was right" Give it up.
I think he has struggled in every game but the Clippers......and even in that game he didn't play defense. Maybe if you had some statistics to back up your argument to prove me wrong. Great, me too, when he actually plays hard.....on both ends during his 7 minutes....hasn't happened yet. DD
The Rox managements are smart. Limiting his minutes to 7, and makes him say that he wants to play, portraying him as an animal who's raging to be out of his cage, fooling other teams to sign him. Wow.
DD, which milestone does this match your prediction on TMac for this season? I can not find your original post.
I cna't be sure he didnt do that to block a potential trade, BUT your post was about how you can't forgive him because he kept carter from being a rocket. Several months later, we now know the deal wasnt really that close, so does it make sense to still hold those feelings towards him when he really wasnt what kept carter from coming here? I just think fans get wrapped up in what we want and forget the NBA is a business. Like any business it has employees who work to make a living. Yes, these guys are millionaires, not exactly starving to deat or anything, but we all know we'd hate to settle down somewhere with family and be relocated. Tmac may be a lot of things, but i can't say he's a bad person or a bad family man. If i was in his position, facing the possibility of tearing my kids and wife away from their friends and established life in houston, but i had an option to keep it from happening "within the rules", then i'd do it.
So when they revisit the situation after Christmas, and if his minutes increase will you feel the same ?
