I've slammed Tracy, but I'm taking this article with a massive grain of salt. Even by the standards of T-Mac's mouth before brain, these quotes make no sense compared to others we've seen, and the source is nowhere as reliable as Clutch. I want him out, but I'm not believing this article.
he's sounded hungry and determined before. nothing ever comes of it. he wants to earn one more contract in his career. that's what he's hungry for. trade him for whatever you can get for him at the deadline and let some other team believe all his talk.
OMFG!!! anyone blasting Tmac after only reading this nuttface writer from Orlando, should REALLY consider reading the Feigan report on Rockets.com AND the Clutch video posted earlier. To me... Tmac has finally learned to shut his mouth and get the little things done that are necessary for him to earn is playing time and respect from the team and from the fans. It took a while... he finally learned!! With that said... this completely fabricated report from Orlando should be used as TP at your nearest restroom and after that, locate the dbag who wrote it and shove it down his throat. We dont need anymore drama bout this situation and I hope some action can be done or requested to get this reporter to retract this garbage!! Inspite of all that, Tmac is in a contract year... but he still needs to play 110% for 8 minutes strait.
LOL @ the people actually believing this. It's funny because when he says something that benefits the team or etc.. Its all PR and what not. It's like you all say "Lets believe the story that makes him look bad" Getting annoying
I'm sick of the drama too but after reading the chron and rockets.com then the fan article I just can't believe there would be such a huge disparty in comments and quotes. I tend to call BS on the fan house article this time. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UJ49M223kkI&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UJ49M223kkI&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Interesting. I'll see if other articles pick up on this, since what McGrady said was a bait for drama. Every other writer will be swarming in on what he said if this was legit.
Cant blame mcgrady for being frustrated After Mcgrady bust his butt for 7 months to get back... First Rockets tell him to sit out until nov 23 even though he was ready to play for training camp and he wasn't even aware of the date until he heard it from the reporters, so he waits. Then Nov23 comes and adelman says he has to see him practice even though he had already been practicing with the team, but adelman says he hasn't been playing a full up and down practice. Next he practices and Adelman says he doesn't want to break chemistry and doesn't know how he's going to put him back in the line up when he's the one who wanted him out until the nov 23rd. Then adelman sits him on the bench without giving him I timetable for when he can get back in the line up. Then a opening becomes available with the injury to bud and Adelman tells the media he doesn't even consider playing mcgrady?.. and hinted how he wants a trade jokingly. And now he's given him only 7 minutes 6 straight games even when guys like ariza can't hit a bucket or dribble the ball but is playing 40 minutes a night. And they even tried to bring back wafer even though mcgrady is been waiting to have a role with the team from the beginning. Instead of just being upfront with him on his plans for him Adelman doesn't communicate with him, so obviously mcgrady feels Rockets are just trying to showcase him for trade and have no intentions on keeping him here, which may be a reason Adelman doesn't want him to get too intergraded into the team. The way I see it this is more on Adelmans part for not being upfront with him on his intentions of mcgrady and the team, whether it's trading him or really just bringing him back slowly. Mcgrady is a competitor so he wants to get out their and prove to everyone he's healthy and can contribute to the team, so I cant blame him for being frustrated when your own coach acts like he doesn't want you to be apart of the team after the work he put in to get back from micro-fracture surgery.
I agree with you. But this forum doesn't want to hear it. They'd rather trade him and watch Ariza have 1-10 games instead.
You can't blame Adelman though. With all of McGrady's past injuries, and the drama that ensued last season, Adelman is correct in his method of very slowly but surely bringing McGrady back into the rotation at 7-8 minutes per game. It's not that Adelman has a personal vendetta against Mac...its that he doesn't want to go through the same crap that happened last year, with the ultimate result of his team losing confidence and chemistry. With that being said...Ariza has definitely hit a wall.
It's pay back time. After T-mac did what he wanted last year without considering the team's benefit. Now the Rockets and the coach are doing what they want, without considering T-mac's future. Nothing wrong IMO.
You guys need to chill out with the article and just watch the post-game interview Clutch posted. You can hear it firsthand without this added trash the FanHouse article put in to create drama and attract readers. T-Mac said the right things in the post-game interview, watch it for yourself.
Hmm, this board was in need of some good negativity. We had been having something of a negativity drought with regards to Tracy... luckily this article came along to help out.
I think I smell Fanhouse BS article. Notice the article doesn't rhyme with what Feigen or Friedman have written. At best it takes all the stuff he said out of context. At worst he made stuff up. Seeing that the writer is a former Orlando reporter I think we are seeing someone that's soured on McGrady like our own former reporter Fran "Blindbury". (Sooooooooo glad he no longer works for the Chronicle) So in other words, I think the Fanhouse is trying to stir things up. Unfortunately, many posters on this board will not look at all the evidence and just hang McGrady to dry since they just hate him no matter what he does. In my opinion, I would rather believe a reputable source or reporter, not BShouse. That site should have been banned like hoops world.
Please DD give him some sort of Credit, even an idiot can work out the difference between the article and the actual interview/quotes. Call the BS and cut the guy some slack
