OK, Im trying to test the systems but Im getting this - In order to test your settings, please download and install the latest version of Microsoft's Java virtual machine. I click on that and it tells me The updates are not available at this address. Anyone know what to do?
moe, I think it may be too early. I know sandbox doesn't start for a couple more weeks, maybe yahoo is the same? Also good luck with smallz. We almost didn't get our football draft finished last year before the season started. He dissappeared for long stretches and held everything up. It was the most frustrating draft I have ever been involved in. RM95, if you think your baseball draft was bad, wait till you see a draft with smallz involved.
I'm very familiar with Yahoo Fantasy games, and live draft is the only way to go. Even if you can't make the draft, you can pre-rank your players and it will still draft for you according to your rankings. So those of you like Manny, that can't make it, just rank your players and you should be fine...unless you feel like the other players will have an advantage since they will draft live. It is important for <b>everyone</b> to rank your players though, so you can look at your rankings while drafting...otherwise, you'll have to go by Yahoo's rankings or Alphabetical. The offline draft doesn't sound like a good idea...it would be too hard to get everyone together, and it's a lot of work for the commish. As for me, I should be able to make the draft as of now, but I won't know for sure until about a week before. P.S. Moe, I tried the system test thing too...Finn may be right, they may just not have it totally set up because it said the same thing for me.

You knew it was a slow live draft, and you also saw people post when they wouldn't be around so someone could pick for them, or they put it on auto-pick. Yet you didn't inform anyone you wouldn't be around. You never put it on auto-pick. And you never asked anyone to pick for you when you knew you wouldn't be around. Then once we did finish the draft (3 weeks later) you didn't even participate. You quit the league and didn't tell anyone. We could have gotten someone to take over your team. You will never be in any fantasy league I am involved in, so don't bother asking.
