I hate to admit it, but I kinda like him...
Thought he had game, just no chance to prove it...
And I keep getting the feeling that he's gonna go to another team and turn into a legit, productive player and come back and haunt us...

but oh i guess it's probably just the long off-season that gets my mind wandering...

Regardless, anyone know what's up with him?

We will never hear or see of him again. Then in a couple of years he will start a basketball camp in Houston which will include a coupon for some free Italian food.

See, this is what I DON'T get about him.

He tore it up in college.
He tore it up in the Rocket workouts.
He tore it up in the Summer Leagues.

But why in sweet moses name can't he deliver during the season??????

Langhi is used to being the man and thats the problem. He is not used to being a role player and he is not good enough to be the man in the NBA. The best Langhi can do is be the man on a crappy team like cleveland. He would score a whole bunch of points but the team would never win. Until he can learn to make shots cold off the bench, he well never be anything in the NBA.

Tmo, I am very surprised that you would find some humor in that; especially based on my projection, Tmo could be going down that straight street.

I hope DL lands on his feet and is able to succeed. There are endless less skilled and talented player that DL in the NBA, so I expecting to be around.

If I were him I'd move to Denver and get some PT.

    Rockbox,

    Exactly.

He is used to having the ball in his hands and creating, and he needs to work on moving without the ball and shooting after receiving the pass.

He has talent, I think he would benefit from playing in Europe.

DearRock: Professional Bball players at just about any level have it so good that a joke about DL being sent to China for Ming really doesn't bother me in the least. If Tmo ends up playing in Europe that's still a wonderful way to make a living.

Rockbox, that is wrong. Confidence is issue. Anybody who can light up for 20 or more point can be a man anywhere. He is Wally with out confidence and don't care attitude. He is 6-11 sharp shooter who is athletic. It will take him some time but if those Barry boys can do it in time so can DL. If I were him I would go to the NBDL and then carefully choose my callups from there.

To tell you the truth, I would rather have Langhi than Torres. I know Langhi isn't the greatest player, but he has a pretty good shot, Torres to me is way too streaky. I wouldn't mind having Langhi coming off the bench for Mobley, unless a trade happens, but who do we have so far, Torres? We should have picked up Billups.

I agree, i do think Langhi is more consistent, Torres just got more PT because he had a good start while Langhi was on the bench, Torres is too streaky and his confidence was broke when he had bad games, never played well again, at least Langhi had a couple good games after many poor shooting games, proves hes a shooter and just needs time and shots like Torres got, he's definitely a more pure shooter, keep Langhi over Torres if i had to choose.:D

Well, I know the guy is in Houston still. I saw him on the corner of Briar Forest and Beltway 8 yesterday. He was on the phone the entire time. Probably with his agent.
