So basically the whole lot of you are going to ignore his entire body of work from the Euro league, which is pathetic btw and embrace him with open arms. Alot of you have short short memories.
We don't watch much Euro-League ball around these forums, but his recent NBA resume has been terrific and indicates that he could fit in wonderfully with us.
Yep. I did not see one single second of any of that. I will judge him by what I saw from last year when he was in a Houston Rockets uniform. I saw every game he played last year and was very impressed. So are you just going to ignore how good he was last year and base your judgement on games you did not even see in Europe?
Funny he's ignoring last season and basing it all on this season. Some people have a really short memory.
so because he didn't get along with Europeans and had an issue with the style of play, you think he can't function with Rick? Rick got good play out of Artest of all head-cases. Wafer shouldn't be a problem.
Von finally does the right thing at the right time. With Budinger out, we desperately need him right now.
jeez this is a burst of energy for us. I would definitely have to say, outside the 5 spot, we have the deepest team in the league now. ALL of our guards and forwards are good enough to be starters. If we can package McGrady/Battier/Taylor for a good starting center, we would definitely be back to being one of the best teams in the league. Only problem i see, is who's even available?
This is an excellent low risk high reward move. We pay him minimum salary, if things don't work out or he's acting up against the coach again we just waive him or trade him away. It's not like we would lose anything by signing him. If things worked out like last year, then we picked up a great offensive player who would excel in a fast paced offense. Can't find a deal with better reward/risk anywhere.
For the 15th player, I would value Wafer's 75 games with the Rockets over the3 games in the Euro league.
