really? We win out and Balt. loses 2 and were in? What about the Titans or Steelers or Jags or Jets winning out?? I understand Miami would be out if we win out by beating them.... I watch football and i played football but i never bothered really paying attention to seeding or anything like basketball... soo....theres 4 playoff spots in each conference and 2 wild card spots in each conference, yes? AFC should be: -Colts -Chargers -Bengals -Pats WC-Denver WC-Balt. under that: Miami: 7-6 NY: 7-6 Jags: 7-7 Pitt-6-7 Tenn-6-7 and finally Houston 6-7 How do we surpass 6 teams into the WC by winning out and only balt losing 2? I'm pretty slow so, talk to me like im the down's syndrome kid they let into gym with the other kids.
A lot has to happen for us to get in but we have a chance!. Keep in mind that the Jags are now 7-7 thanks to Peyton Read this and you'll get a clearer picture http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=4956760&postcount=62
You're right other teams need to lose and I guess we're expecting/hoping those losses are coming, the only 'miracle' is Baltimore losing 2 out of 3.
We're +41 this season. In fact, we've scored the fifth most points in the AFC this season. That's with the worst running attack in the NFL. Just shows you how effective Schaub and AJ have been this season, even with the absence of OD and huge parts of the OL.
they are missing key pieces on both sides of the ball, no line, subpar skill players, no running game, no secondary... we won't make the playoffs unless they rebuild the team.
the only players i'd keep are cushing, ryans, mario, okoye, aj, and winston. everyone else can play somewhere else for all i care.
Dude you aren't making any sense. So you want us to completely rebuild our backfield, QB position, practically every WR & d linemen, secondary, & tight ends ? LOL just wow
Ironic statement since the Texans are actually in the black for point differential (one of only a few "non-winning" teams that are)
so, you only want to keep 2 players in offense? what about owen daniels? he was having an amazing year before his injury, I would keep him for sure, among other players. you cant win with just one excellent player in the offense, (look stephen jax on the rams, or cribbs with cleveland)
yeah, a QB with a nearly 100 rating is definitely not part of the solution, yet somehow underachieving bust Amobi Okoye is.
A QB in the top 2 in passing yards An extremely talented tight end Some talented role playing receivers but at least you wanted Amobi
