The Rockets are contenders this year. A move now doesn't necessarily mean they jeopardise another move at the trade deadline. IMO, they're working with more leverage at the TD if they can get under LT before then.
Let's stop comparing his sprain to everyone else's. Sprains vary greatly, what it looks like doesnt mean a lot, it shows w hich why he sprained it, but the severity of it depends on a lot more than how it looks.
yes and no..it can provide support, mainly to an injured ankle, but some believe it actually hurts your ankles more because it's constantly giving them a crutch and therefore they may not strengthen naturally on their own like they should..
Contenders for what? A 50/50 chance at the second round? Then what.... oh right.. NOTHING. We're not contenders... I don't know how you got to that conclusion... we're a solid team... but we certainly aren't contenders...
might be a third degree since it's a minimum of to weeks Contenders, for the title?? No way, on any given day we can beat anyone, but, a playoff series is a different thing. Without sufficient height we'll get worn out eventually like with the lakers..
Only if the right move is available. It won't be. This is the kind of move that could really effect the franchise for the foreseeable future. A panic move could really backfire.
It's an illusion, that we are a contender despite what we have achieved. The playoffs will require a lot more from us. This team can't be expected to win series after series against superior opposition even with solid team work. No one will give anything significant for McGrady or his expiring contract. I remember you mentioned a potential Foster/Dunleavy (please correct me if I'm wrong) move for McGrady's expiring contract. That won't be enough to get us deep into the playoffs.
As soon as I saw Chase grimace after the injury and then watched the replay, I knew he was going to be out a while. Two weeks isn't that long but I expect it will be closer to 3-4 weeks. Of course, he is young so maybe he will recover sooner?? Anyway, there is a POLL on the homepage of www.nba.com that asks: Who do you think was the biggest steal of the 2009 Draft? Chase is currently at 32% (2nd behind DeJuan Blair 34%). Go vote for Chase...it will help him recover faster, really!!!
it won't more than a month, i'd say right under, about 3 weeks. The most important thing was he was able to almost walk off on it. It deoends on tmac's progression and JT's performance as well, so i say 2-3 weeks if need him, and extra week/week and a half if we can stay decent without him.
jnjury again~ at this moment.I can't stop thinking whether our team was cursed by someone else.firstly t-mac,yao,later following landry, budinger, you can't imagine this happen to us almost each season. what makes us think more about the body training and rehabilitate system,is there still anything need to be modulated?
nah, when you sprain your ankle as bad as he did, it really doesn't matter how old you are.... to answer a post from earlier about whether breaking your ankle is worse...it's surprisingly less painful than a severe ankle sprain...takes longer to heal though...the messed up part about spraining an ankle as bad as Chase did, is that it never really heals.
Ankle injuries suck. Even when he does come back, I doubt he would go for alley-oops or run the floor as much as he has because the ankle will still affect him. I think Mike Harris will get called up now and expect a minute increase for either McGrady or JT.
