Carl Landry got 3 teeth knockedout by dirk

man this guy is tough, first loses 2 against the j*zz
then he gets shot in the leg and legs it,
now a friggen ugly kent takes out 3 of his teeth and then another 2 falls out.

After all he has been through, why doesn't Landry wear a mouthpiece? Hopefully he will before he has no teeth left.

I would have to say that Carl Landry is one of the most likeable Rockets of all time.

Dude will probably piss all over Stockton, Malone, and Hornacek's graves one day.

Didn't know you had to go to the hospital for broken teeth.

 

It was reported he had serious lacerations to his gums, too. I'm pretty sure Landry's mouth is a gnarly mess right now.

Here's hoping he comes back rocking the full-on Mike Tyson look.

 

Why was it a blocking foul? Was Landry inside the restricted area? He was clearly set and Dirk just ran into him.

Anyway, Landry acted like there was nothing, just walked to the bench pointing to his mouth, while Dirk sat on the floor moaning for pain. That was pretty funny out of an unfortunate situation.

 

"The Shark" (sharks tend to leave a few teeth in their victims...but then again, they have the ability to grow them back -- a trait that Carl would definitely find useful in his career thus far).

I agree with what most folks are saying -- Carl Landry is one tough player. You've got to love what he's sacrificed for the team, but at the same time I hate to see this stuff happen to him.

 

Thinking of the Human aspect though, It's pretty sad that he would not be able to eat the kinds of foods that he wants for a while.

 

I remember against Jazz, it wasnt his real tooth. Same story here?

Landry is tough as nails, maybe he needs to start wearing a hannibal lector mask.

They said Landry wears a mouthpiece. Maybe he didn't wear it that night because it boggles the mind how his mouthpiece fell out and then two of his teeth got embedded into dirk's elbow. Landry is a badass!
