They played at Stubb's here in Austin tonite and I must say, its amazing that a band with such intricate songs with the catchiest hooks can be that popular. Their performance was one of the best live shows I have seen, and that is saying a lot. The best "alternative rock" band out of Canada is not Nikelback (aka Wana-Creed), it is OLP. Yeah I know about Neil Young and Rush........ Please support live music in your hometown. It is very theraputic.
All I have to say is: "Hey, is anybody home, is anybody wasting tears on lonliness that everyone becomes?" I may drive to Houston tomorrow.....
Sarah thinks she died here once before, she's crazy! Crazy Sarah! A popup book of flowers from grade four are driving...her insane that is! Somebody pass the Courvesier!
Dang, I need to get tickets ASAP. Where and when is the concert? Am I too late to be able to get tickets? I really like OLP and wouldn't want to miss a chance to see them live. B
Yeah man sorry about that. I actually had to buy a ticket for $30 because they were sold out. It was hot and humid as hell last night!
okay. the first band that opened for them got on my nerves cause all of their songs sounded the same. after a few drinks the band from ireland or whatever was pretty cool. and then after many drinks our lady peace kicked ass. there was WAY too many little kids there. i had fun... the end
