I'm saying that Ariza does more than just get steals. He disrupts the other teams' offense. His length forces players to adjust their shot, adjust the way they pass, and that forces them to turn the ball over - even when he doesn't get the steal.

The point is that this is ALL that Von Wafer does. All of what Wafer does is what is visually appealing to the common fans. It is a good thing to shoot a high percentage but he doesn't even try to compete at half of basketball (defense) and is a negative on that end...not to mention his lack of focus which might not show up in his individual scoring efficiency but it hurts the team as a whole.

Morrow? absolutely, yes. Chase is pretty solid on D but his shooting efficiency isn't any better than Artest's. So yes, I would say Artest is a more efficient player, more efficient at helping a team win than both of those players.

Ariza will look a whole lot better when Yao comes back.

Shouldn't T-Mac be better than KG, Duncan, Kobe, Lebron, if talent goes up with the higher salary?

DD is right, we are getting ripped off.

If Ariza could do half of what Tracy could do, we'd be near the top of standings.

We get less production for every million that we spend on T-Mac.
The law of diminishing returns according to T-Mac.

    06-07....$16.9 mil...71 games
    07-08....$19.0 mil...66 games
    08-09....$20.4 mil...35 games
    09-10....$23.2 mil.....3 games(out of 26 possible games)

DM and RA got it into his head he is a star. Watch him take same number of shots when yao comes back. He doesn't want to be a role player that is why he came here. If he was going to be a role player he could have stayed in LA and won some titles.
