Dirk and Carl out, Dallas didn't know whois their go-to guy because Terry was guarded by Battier.

    Thank you Carl and Lowwry!

Let's start up a collection, folks... Carl deserves this, and he's gonna need it:

    poor landry.
I think we should name landry player of the game, cause even he didn't play the game, he sacrificed his teeth to take Dirk out, if Dirk is in, we might have lost in the regular time...........

Beating the Mavs in Dallas is sweet. Gutsy game, gutsy team. This is my favorite Rockets team since the championship years. The 2005 Bob Sura team were also gamers, but this team is even more gritty. I love watching this kind of effort. Frankly, only the Sura team during the Yao/Tmac era gave anything approaching the effort of the current team. With neither Yao or TMac playing sort of raises questions doesn't it. I remember being beat up on the board for questioning the temperament of both Yao and TMac in regard to intensity.

    This was a great game...

    1) TMAC looking good
    2) Landry and Dirk knocking each other out and it could be for a few games.
    3) Lowry exploding
    4) Brooks great second half
    5) Kidd cheapshot
    6) Mavs rally from 10 down with 2 to play to force OT
    7) All kind of Madness in OT and the Mavs self destructing
    8) Rox 16-8 OT
    9) Cuban protesting game

    AWESOME LOL

Dirk may be the league MVP for 2010, and Mark Cuban is a hands-on, dedicated owner. There's no denying these facts.

That being said, I f**kin' hate the Mavs and love seeing us steal one on their home court in OT!

The only team I hate more than Dallas is Utah. All this talk about Dallas being a horrible town has nothing to do with me or the Rox. It's the Mavs team I can't stand, despite their having one of the great forwards of our time and a fearless (publicity-seeking) owner who makes the game more entertaining. Terry (and Dirk's hair) and everyone else on that squad pisses me off - especially Dirk's floppy Euro-do.

Let's treasure this win and beat 'em again on New Year's Eve at Toyota Center! We won't see them at all in 2010 (this season) unless it's in the postseason. If that happens, all hell will break loose in H-town.

Looks like ESPN might give the Rox/Mavs a prime spot for their highlights...

This game was a milestone for Rockets guard... I can recall back in the 2005 playoffs when the Rocket guards (Sura, Wesley, Barry) at times struggled defensively with the quickness and size of the Dallas guards (Terry, Harris, Howard, Stackhouse). The Rockets have continued to struggle with their guards... Rafer, Luther Head, Keith Bogans, and Mike James all struggled to be consistent and stick as the right guards for the Rockets.

Tonight, Aaron Brooks and Kyle Lowry combined:

    51 points
    16 assists
    10 rebounds
    7 steals
    5-10 3pm-a
    14-17 FTm-a

Terry was held in check, and Kidd wasn't able to completely exploit Brooks in the post. Credit goes to Barea's 23 points and Kidd's double-double, but overall, the two-headed point guard greatly outplayed the Mavs guards tonight.
