I don't know but he reminds me of young DWade especially if you consider the size and all other things
yeah he is. His Max Vert may not blow you away but he is quick as hell and seems to have really good 2nd and 3rd jumps.
He's athletic, but his strength is his biggest asset IMO... the dudes already built like a truck. I agree with the Dwade comparisons, althought I think Wade's athleticism is a notch higher.
Hit the game winning lay up tonight. <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/J2AbVDPywzk&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/J2AbVDPywzk&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>
And if they were winning even more, that would not be a problem. Evans impact goes beyond his stat line. He plays defense and he hustles. He makes important baskets and does not panic. He plays his game. If they start losing more when Martin and Garcia return, than it is clear what moves have to be made.
This game had a really wild finish. There were 4 scores in the last 15 seconds. 1 Jennings hit 2 FTs 2 Evans drove and fed Jason Thompson for a bunny 3 Evans almost had a game-closing steal for the 2nd game in-a-row but Jennings got control of the ball and dished for a layup 4 The play above I was rooting hard for the Kings. They have really pulled together to become a fun team to watch. It's hard to believe they are almost at .500 now despite this being only their 2nd road win of the season. I've very anxious to see what happens in 2-3 weeks when Kevin Martin returns. I hope he fits in with Evans and takes the Kings to another level.
Not so much the player as the way people brag on his all-around game -- points, rebounds, assists, steals.
