Couple of days... but that's while eating military rations in the field which purposely cause constipation. Once you get back on base and get some real food in you, bomb's away!
It's not really like that all the time. Just on occasion. Sometimes, I'll have a few weeks where I do go daily (and so regular that it's always 11am every day). I just don't eat enough fiber, and probably just don't drink enough fluid. I had a CT scan a while back (1 year) to diagnose appendicitis, and they would've seen something if it was there.
My cat does that (of course, she doesn't wait for a walk, she just uses the litter box when I hit the head). She also eats breakfast when I do. I think that's pretty abnormal for a cat...
A friend of mine started to get concerned after about ten days and started giving us updates. She went 17 days! Most of the problem was that she had just had a baby and was on pain killers which cause these sorts of problems. Not to mention she was nervous about the idea (think about it )
I once didn't go number two for about a week but I was in the hospital recovering from surgery and flat on my back the whole time and on pain killers. I also didn't go number one for about two days. They finally told me they were going to cathaterize me and I went. The longest I didn't go number two outside of a hospital was 3 days but I had intestinal pneumonia and basically cleared out my whole GI tract in the first 10 hours.
I poop every single day...longest I've gone was 2.5 days, I was out on a camping trip and the outdoor toilets were absolutely disgusting..i limited my food intake during those two days. First thing I did when I got back home was relieve myself on the can.,... but wow, some of you guys have bowel issues...eat more veggies and fruits.
While I was on the Thanksgiving break, I went #2 4 times in ONE day. I kid you not. Oh, I did. I had to make room, y'all.
i bet when you do finally take dumps they are those really bad.. open the window... turn on a match...spray some feebreeze type dumps. hey chmal....just wondering..what does the TS i your name stand for?
when i had acl reconstruction surgery, i was given a lot of prescription pain killers to dull the pain. i found out that pain killers make you constipated. i didn't take a dump until 8 days after surgery. my next one was 7 days after that. if you do the math, i took 2 dumps in 15 days.
Actually lack of fiber isn't the chief cause of constipation for alot of people. It is due to wheat opioids found in foods like wheat bread that causes alot of people to be blocked up. Try eating alot of bread and see what happens. Doesn't affect everyone, but a significant number of people with problems like this.
Hernia surgery. The painkillers plus my inability to put in much effort on the can kept me stopped up for a week.
I typically go 5 or 6 times a week. When I decide to cut down on the carbs for a while, it's more like 3 or 4 times a week.
I go everyday around 11 am. In fact, I have to go right now. Longest time I ever went was a week back in 7th grade with constipation. Okay, I can't hold it in anymore...
