I want to clarify one thing before I post the rest of this ad. After posting this is greensheet and the chron, I have gotten numerous calls from persons believing I am selling reindeer. But, this is not a reindeer, it is a christmas elk. The christmas elk is much larger than a reindeer, has a more bitter disposition and has a light green mold that often grows on its hindquarters. It is a slight variation of the typical North American Elk Breed. The animal ruts in late december, hence its name. Anyway, that being said, I do have 1-2 Christmas Elk for sale. 1 male and 1 female. There names are Yancy and Stella. You can rename after purchase if you would like. The male (Yancy) is about 510 pounds and has 9 points on each side of his antlers. He is extremely Virile and his counterpart Stella is a superb birther. There offspring now live in wildlife refuges across 23 states. Yancy is super aggressive, but if you continuously feed him heavy foods and limit the amount of water you give him you can keep him weak and controllable. I would recommend a cage with a holding cell for when you need to drop food in his cage. The Female (Stella) is a downright b**** and is 400 pounds. She is a good birther and thats really it. Not that these animals are pets per se, but if you have the containment capabilities it can be a lucrative venture.
What type of climate can Yancy live in? Actually I want Yancy to thrive. It will be cool to showoff to the neighbors since they have some prize show dogs.
I'm wondering if Yancy is a dominant male, because I have a field right now with a few roaming wildebeest and I'm just wondering how bringing in another species would upset the culture of this.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. I bought a centaur and 3 sprites from him and they were not properly fed or watered. One of the sprites contracted H1N1 and infected the other two sprites. Making matters worse, the Centaur lacked all manners and was infected with pubic lice. It took me 6 months to teach the Centaur basic hygiene and after all the work was complete he ran off with Mayzar.... JUST NOT WORTH IT.
Moes- I had a tiger and the tiger and the elk got along well. Strangely though, Christmas Elk are distinctly defined by the very acute characteristic that they urinate on wildabeest males and voraciously impregnate the female wildabeests.
Francis3422, you were the OP on that Fight Thread way back in the day. What is up with the lame ending to it? I was looking at that Classic Thread post and realized you still posted here. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=76336
