How long will it take TMac to start contributing? Thus far he has not done much and I don't know if he will get it going with the minutes he is playing.

I see where you're going but I think it's more important that coach plays people according to matchups and hot streaks rather than just arbitrarily making sure he fills everyone's time requirements.

It's obvious Ariza needs to play less minutes. I'm interested in seeing how Ariza could play with McGrady. Ariza sucks at creating his own shot, but I think he could do very well playing off of Mcgrady. At least....I think he can.

My comments were in no way meant to be interpeted as literal, as that would imply that I am a homosexual with multiple partners. I can assure you that is NOT the case.

All I can ask is that you please show some semblance of logic when reviewing my posts. I was figuratively alluding to their ball-handling abilities, and I would expect any reasonable man to comprehend that sentence properly.

I wonder how long it will take for Mcgrady to start playing 30+ mpg?

I'd like to think that Ariza is still going through a learning process as he becomes more of a contributor than he was last year. But, so far I haven't seen much evidence of 'learning' so I'm not sure that is the case. He's really having a rough time out there. I hope he can come out of it ...

Ariza has never played this many minutes and taken this many shots in his nba career. It takes a degree of stamina to play and produce with those minutes and be effective. He needs his minutes dropped to about 30. Another guy that will lose minutes is lowry with the small lineup. I think the lineup was done because the rockets didn't have another creator.

Right now Tracy McGrady handles like my Kymco Agility 125cc. Tighter turns through tinier gaps than your BMW can pull off, but only maxes out at 50-55mph.

And 75 mpg on a 5L (1.25 gal) tank to boot. Sounds about right for McGrady don't you think?

If he resigns a "hometown discount" contract for less than market value, then that analogy would receive a "C".

You started it by comparing T-Mac to a sports car. Have you watched the last two games?

Multiple times I have reviewed McGrady's performance in the past couple of games. I actually enjoyed your analogy, and a "C" is very good in raj's book

I think by now Adelman has a pretty good idea what Ariza can and can't do. He will adjust Ariza's role accordingly. Regardless of what McGrady's future is with the Rockets, Ariza won't be playing close to 40 mpg long term.

Besides, it seems that Budinger plays better when he plays more minutes in a game. I could be wrong though.

handles as in dribbling ability, it's kind of an obvious statement, mcgrady is a very smooth dribbler, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0BvQrwmTVw, just an example of some of his offensive moves, very unlike Ariza who isn't pretty when he tries to take people off the dribble. Not against Ariza, I just don't think he needs to be a high volume shooter. I am confident that he will improve loads with the return of Yao next season, and I am aware that it takes time to adjust, but from what I have seen he doesn't appear to posess the ball handling skills that are required for some of the things he tries.

With Yao back Ariza can focus on D, hit open threes, and if he does that as well as he did in the playoffs than it opens up alot more for him as people will close out and he can drive in, also it allows more spacing for Yao when he is down low. It seems we will just have to painfully watch the growing stages and be thankful that it is only one year and we aren't even playing that bad, we're winning, still can get a playoff spot as high as 6 I believe, hell who knows some of these guys won 22 in a row.

Once Feb comes I hope to see this team in a groove, it will clearly take some time to adjust to all of the role changes.
