i dont think lee is better than carl landry, lee is a great player, lot of hustle, but he wouldn't fit on this team, i think hes an ok player on a very bad ny team, which makes him look better than what he actually is, nate robinson is another example. best solution for the rockets and ive been saying this all along is keep tmac, and wait it out till after the season, you never know what he can do if hes 100% healthy, cbud will have bad games like today against the nuggets, and ariza is jekyl and hyde, tmac is insurance.

i don't think we should trade tmac for a david lee-level player either, i was just commenting about people overrating our own players.

If you swapped Carl Landry and David Lee you would see Carl playing PF for the Eastern Conference All Star team.

Just putting David Lee's numbers in perspective.

Give me Landry over Lee anyday. And Scola as well considering that Lee's extra production isn't worth his extra salary.

Seems the best tradeable players on the teams mentioned as trade partners (Knicks, Miami) are all at the position where we're already rich -- PF. We need some size at center or maybe a scoring SG, or high draft picks, not another good PF.

david lee is a decent center that averages a double double, and rockets really need a big man to replace yao ming right now,so i don't see the reasons why it will become a bad trade though

It's New York they got scrubs and some athletic role players ( see harrington and Lee) Lee's good but not on the rockets we have too many forwards as it is.

    Forget NY let T-mac walk/resign

trade shane battier and Hayes for Camby

LOL ... the article also claims that they're hearing T-Mac has had a questionable work ethic and is disinterested in practice (*this* season). The same guy who is four months ahead of schedule on a microfracture rehab. Screams of credibility, this one.

This article is complete garbage ... next.

The article could've been expressed better but it was obvious he wasn't referring to this season.

    Tmac for bad contract+gallinari

thats how it works, if not, good luck luring lebron with 1 FA MAx while Miami can get 2 superstars.
