What was up with it tonight? Normally, I just stroll on in, and scan my ID no problem. I go to a few Rockets game every now and then or 44 a season. They made us wait in line, and then a security guard would lead you to another one where they would wand you. That slowed everything down tonight. But I got my bobblehead Is terror alert on orange or red tonight because T-Mac is playing?
No I went to a game a few weeks ago and it was like that back then. But I think its a terrorist threat level or something.

That's a little outlandish...that much security at an NBA game? Really? As a brown person myself, that's a bit offensive. We like basketball too.
happened to me during the memphis game a while back...forgot my jacket with inside pockets and couldn't sneak in my gatorade
Kam, I was surprised tonight with the amount of people standing in line for the bobblehead. I don't think I have seen this many people since the season opener.
I think this is stupid that you're complaining about extra security. God forbid something did happen tonight, you and many others would be b****ing right now about how they should have extra security. Better safe than sorry.
Are they really opening doors later now? I went to the Cleveland game around 6:20 and there was a long line. I thought it was one time thing too. But from I'm reading in this thread it wasn't. It was cold out there! ... They should have been considerate and given notice of the time change for the doors.
I don't mind the extra security. It's a good thing to keep it safe. The line to get in backed all the way to the street corner of Polk and LaBranch. Doors used to open at 6pm, instead of 630. Things could have been done in a better way, such as opening at 6pm, instead of having people crowd around.
Ha - I thought it was for the bobbleheads (got there just after 6.30) I did see that they must have caught some dude trying to sneak in a 6 pack of bud...unless that was for security as I saw it sitting on the table.
