C-Buddy! How crazy would it be if he took the starting job from Ariza?

Oh boy! If that happened, CBud better be on the lookout for another swingin' elbow!

I sure hope the "Lights Out!" version of Air Bud shows up tonight. What a trip. If the guy makes a splash as a starter, Morey will earn even more praise from the national media, and he just might do it.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of playing next to Ariza. The more athletic the merrier, imo.

His defense will get better. He's working on it by getting Shane's help (our best defender) so there is no way in my mind that he will digress.

I think that'll depend on how well he plays D. Good test going against Rip tonight. If Bud gets some of those wide open looks like Ariza gets sometimes, I like his chances of a good showing tonight.

why would he get mad? you can't start Landry, Scola AND Hayes.

that would be the most redundant lineup. we'd have no PF or C who can come off the bench.

he's defintely got the skill to warrant more minutes. he defintely makes better decisions and is a better offensive player than ariza. he just needs to work on defense to become a starter.

Landry plays power forward, and sometimes at center.

Budinger is filling in for Ariza at shooting guard.

Landry will not be pissed because 1) he has not ever been a shooting guard, and 2) he is still going to come off the bench and probably score close to 20 points playing around 30 minutes or more tonight.

Cool. Let's just hope Budinger is "on" tonight. He's been streaky lately.

My guess. Taylor might get 8 minutes. Lowry and Brooks most of the minutes at point and shooting guard tonight. Lowry can guard anybody the Pistons have at 2. Gordon, Bynum, Stuckey & Hamilton.

Look, Ariza is the starting 2 guard. No way Landry plays the 2. If you slide Battier down to the 2 and Landry to the 3, then that lineup would be too slow and doesn't have enough perimeter shooting. Plus, the bench would be so weak. Landry plays great against the second unit and is the spark off the bench.

I think we are better off with Lowry and Landry coming off the bench.

Figured that would happen, let's hope he ceases the opportunity.

I think you meant "seize" the opportunity. Then again, Budinger might cease it as well...

Really poor Landry? I worry about some of you guys, always making something out of nothing. I guess if Aaron Brooks was to miss a game you would expect Landry to take is a place as well.

Why would Landry care? If Scola was out tonight and Chase started, then he'd be a little concerned.
