    Your analogy is flawed.

lol @ all the people who are saying we're hating on Ariza.

I suppose valid criticisms these days is considered hate.

I suppose all the criticism of Rafer was just hate too, and it was hate that shipped his ass out of town, not his horrible .400 FG%

When Ariza comes back, he needs to defer to Brooks, Luis, or Landry more instead of chucking up so much shots. he needs to go back to playing the role he did on the Lakers, then slowly expand his game from there. Making the sudden leap is not working for him

Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard.

@DaDakota that sound like something Bill Walton would've said if he was still on ESPN lol I feel ya on that tho

Change coworker to a customer or competing company's employee then. I'm pretty sure my company would very much frown upon me trying to deck anyone period.

He played that role on the lakers cause they had Kobe, Gasol, Odom, and Bynum being the focal points of the offense. We dont have that pleasure. This was a season to give him the opportunity to expand his game and try to score more and be a playmaker (per the GM and the coach). Brooks was 6-20 by the way so why defer to him? Brooks hasn't been shooting the greatest % either so far this year. It's one horrible game so what? Every player has them at some point.

Every game we lose all the analysts come out and tell us why. What we should be doing. Like we can REALLY win everygame hahaha sometimes you just gonna lose. You are going to blow big leads late in the game, you are going to never be in the game, its a part of the games.

Even if we LOSE tomorrow, it's not like we're going to say "We really missed Ariza!"

the guy hasn't been conducive to winning any of our games so far. all of our wins are because of Landry, Brooks, Scola, or the grittyness of Lowry and Hayes. Throw in a mix of Budinger and Andersen too.

cause, Ariza hasn't helped us win playing the way he's played. Going back to his Laker role and letting the more offensively developed players on our team take more shots will help us win MORE than we are currently on pace for.

I agree with the suspension. One game should suffice.

Brooks' shooting percentage is just fine for a guard. Ariza's is horrible and he's putting up 17 shots a game. Brooks is taking about the same amount of shots Rafer did, Ariza's putting up more shots than Brandon Roy and Rudy Gay.

if the damn refs were calling it fairly.. it wouldn't got to that point. I am not one to complain but th Rockets were getting hammered so much it was pitiful. They eventually got sick of it... hence the frustration,.

Wait, so Brooks has a 6 for 20 game and you are saying Ariza shouldn't be deferring to him. Then you say all players have a bad game from a shooting standpoint to excuse Ariza's poor night. Well, this just in, but Aaron Brooks shoots 44% from the floor which is the highest of any non big on the team. Ariza shoots 37% from the floor and 32% from 3 point land. Thats Rafer Alston levels.

Erm... how? Are you implying that just because the guy was on a different team, he wasn't a co-worker? Because if so, you would be wrong.

That's good, I'm glad they're letting him know good-naturedly that what he did was unacceptable.

He is the second-leading scorer, so they are obviously going to miss him. But if the rest of the team and the coaches make sure he realizes that Houston doesn't roll that way he'll come back better.

The thing people have to realize is he's had a HUGE jump in role and stats from the rest of his career right now. So bad nights are going to be difficult on him. That doesn't mean that was acceptable what he did; it also doesn't mean we don't need his steals and more of that sweet reverse dunk.

He has helped us win games. Just look at the philly game and his late in the game 3. He's made other big points for us when we needed them.

Guys, all the articles regarding this say "Ariza says he has been suspended for one game."

Nothing official has been stated yet.

lol 2 games... he should be.
