Ariza is a young guy embracing a new role on the team, but needs to keep emotions in check. We're only 23 games into the season, there's going more nights where we are going to deeply struggle offensively. Maybe a 1 game suspension can help him out.
i don't know. looks like he was just swinging at air intentionally to me. i mean, i get that he was ejected, but i don't think he is a dirty player, or that he intended to connect.
Dirty ass play and it is the first time...so he deserves to be given a 2nd chance. Hopefully he comes out with an apology
Here's what DeMar DeRozan said: "I know it wasn't intentional or nothing," DeRozan said. "He was just frustrated, he wasn't hitting any shots, they were down by 20. Just in the heat of the game, it's frustration. It's definitely no problem, he's still my man."
Do you remember his flagrant foul on Fernandez as a member of the Fakers? Here we go again... This is that kind of situation, when you lose, play awful and can't change anything. This is the signature of losers... Even if this loser have a championship ring.
Please... some of that foul and this incident seems like regular fouls back in the early 90s. The guy is just a competitor and he was frustrated.
i agree with you and the others, that believe he didn't intend to hit him, it was out of frustration, and if wanted to hit him, why didn't he swing with his fist and arms extended, he swung out of frustration, and didn't intend to hit him, ill be surprised if he gets one game, if he does, he might appeal
want to foul hard? Try to hit the opposite player, who's trying to go the ring in the way, that 80's Celtics would hit LeBron, according to Kevin McHale. But Rudy's situation and this - are the jerk signature moves, not competitor's one.
