7/18 for 20 pts on 38% shooting. Only 3 assists for a pg, and horrible D that led to AB hitting the game winner. Looks like an allstar to me Good win, looks like we're starting to the softer part of our sched
Carl Landry with another 20 point performance. Love him, glad we pulled this one off. Keep up the winning ways

Who was that old man that seemed like he was the head coach along with Jordan? After AB made the last shot, I laughed when I saw both of them signal for the timeout Anyways, just glad to get out of Phili with the W.
AB needs to watch the video of last 20 sec of this game for 100 times. He needs to do that in order for him to grow as a player. It was mere luck that he got the ball back off from a failure pass onto AI's leg. Shane was WIDE OPEN on his left since AI decide to close on him instead of guarding the 3's (which was a good play from philadelphia) As often as i have seen how RA used this play to close game out, i would like AB to have more practice on his close game play. I have leaguepass and i have watched couple of old games. I noticed AB has a tendacy to throw up floaters or drive deep into the lane(for a akward layup or a dish out). I believe that he can beat anyone off his dribble and he can pull up from the elbow with ease. Maybe it's easier to pass it to spot up shooters like Scola/Bat if he drives to the middle but i would rather gamble with a pull up mid range jumper from AB than a reckless drive and dish play from times to times.
AB basically got lucky he got the ball back form his **** pass, rather than it ending up in a defenders hands. Our bench kept us within striking distance and Brooks did take over, but nearly ****ed it at the end.
What do you mean? That's how they drew it up in the timeout. Pass it off the guys leg, go get it, and sink it.
Even the greatest teams would not have been champions whithout luck. Its part of the game. But how many players would you say there are that are focused enough to have gone after the ball be be aware that there was not time left and shoot? That's what I thought.
Didn't Kobe Bryant just bank in a 3pointer from the top of the key for a win? And didn't Brandon Roy just toss up a miracle shot to beat the Rockets by 1? Sometimes luck is absolutely a factor. DD
The win can attributed to 98% effort and team-play and 2% luck. Without the 98% of effort and team-play, that fortuitous bounce of the ball back to Brooks would be moot, because they probably wouldn't have had the lead in the first place. Saying it was a lucky win diminishes all of the other good things they did.
If Yao was indeed expected to come back early next season, do you think Rockets would be willing to give McGrady a 1 year contract (especially if he plays well this year and regains most of his form.) I doubt it though, McGrady's time here is pretty much done here.
Great to know that you have a good set of guys in your second unit to go out there and play solid when your starters are struggling.
