Question for you mechanics (auto)

    99 Mercury Mountaineer
    The O/D light is blinking on and off, just happened today. Still works properly though.

    Any ideas as to why its flashing?

    OD sensor and or solenoid might need replacing.

    no the turn signals arent on.

    if it is the sensor or solenoid, is that something I can ignore for while, kinda spent a bit of money for Hanukkah/Xmas.

    You can, but I wouldn't go toooo long as it would lead to Mazyar (tranny/transmission) problems.
