http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore;_ylt=ArzyLmEMDkkC9yu4Ef4Sl6s5nYcB?gid=2009120720 In AI's return vs. the Nuggest, the Philly bench combined for 39 minutes played, 1 made FG in 15 tries, 0 FT attempts. They also picked up a total of 5 rebound (0 offensive), 1 assists and 1 TO. Has there been a worse scoring output by a bench than this?
In the 4th quarter, it seems like the nugs bench outscored philly's 16 - 0 or something, that's weird. Haven't seen anything like this for a while, 1 FG made in 15 tries, that was embarrassing.
JVG lead rockets to first round exits on 2 occasions I believe against the Jazz a few years back, I remember the rockets bench on a few occasions scoring close to zero points..... not sure if we actually got there but we were close..... tmac/yao/howard/alston/hayes/head/snyder lineup? probably a few names a missed out
It amazes me to this day that everyone here, myself included, sincerely believed that team could take out the Jazz. The fact that they almost did, even more so.
Don't freaking remind me..... 4 DAMN PLAYERS SCORED IN ONE GAME.... 4! God that was probably the worst game I ever watched
when asking this question I'm surprised the OP didn't even think about out series with the jazz...hell out teams during jvg's tenure would have games the bench would barely score.
