In conjunction with the other thread of course.. I thought this would be good.

    Let me get it started:

Gilbert Arenas--points down around 20, assists barely elevated at all, FG% under 40. His worst season since his 1st one in Washington. Rebounds also slightly down, which you might expect post-surgery.

Al Jefferson--I hoped he'd have come around by now, but he's still only shown flashes. He's not the guy he had been the last 2 years.

Hedo Turkoglu--I think a lot of us expected this, but Toronto sure didn't based on the $$ they gave him. What a poor signing..

Richard Jefferson--SA's big 3 have missed plenty of time, and they aren't all healthy. There has been opportunity for Jefferson to shine, and yet he is having his worst season ever by a lot of measures. Percentages down across the board. Surprising to me...I thought he'd help SA a lot more than he has.

Kevin Durant. I thought he'd be the leading scorer this season... He's been a disappointment to me thus far, though he's still on this average numbers.

Wow. The guy's averaging a career high in points, rebounds, and assists while shooting 46% from the floor and leading his team to their best start since 2004-05 and you think he's been a disappointment?

I don't think he's a disappointment in the regard that he's doing better than he has in his entire career. He's a disappointment to me because he didn't meet my expectations in which I thought he would this season... I thought this would be his breakout season... maybe the part where he'd be up there to be in the mention in the likes of maybe... Wade... Roy.. etc.

I thought you were being sarcastic on your last post, and you think he's a dissapointment? Get real, he's the 3rd leading scorer in the NBA, shooting 46%fg, 88% from the free throw line, 7 rebound 3 assists and almost 2 steals per game. What'd you think he'd average, 30 pts, 10 reb, 8 assists? I think this is his best season in his career right now.

    Rasheed Wallace
    Mike Conley
    David West

Sheed is really the only one I thought would play well. The other two I never thought were that good but I think some would be disappointed in their play.

Actually yes... I set the standards high for him. Let me restate myself by saying he's not really a disappointment... I mean he's having a great season, I just set the bar high for him, maybe a little to early in his career... but I'm sure he'll get there soon enough. It's only his 3rd year.

It's silly puting Al Jefferson there cause his grandma just died and he's obviously under a lot of stress.

Arenas had a rough time coming back and he'll do better later I think.

I can't say who dissapointed me the most but B Jennings really surprised me

I'm not sure that he isn't as good as Roy at this point. As for Wade, only Kobe, Lebron, and maybe Carmelo are in that class.

    huh?

you expected something from Lee

I agree with Shaud on Rose. Seems like the guy sat back reading his own reviews over the off-season or something. Seems to have regressed slightly?

Or perhaps that's just a product of the bulls generally stinking thus far.

If a 30 year old man lets the death of his grandmother ruin his NBA season he doesn't belong in the NBA.

Believe it or not, losing a family member tends to slightly bother you... Weird right? Seeing that you have no sympathy for him whatsoever.
