It's proven that Ellis is a good scorer, but he's averaging near 4.5 turnovers per game. In his last 5 games he's had 8 7 9 2 7 For a shooting guard those seem like overwhelming numbers. I realize he is averaging near 40 minutes per game, but those are somewhat mind blowing numbers over a span of 5 games.
Brooks is actually more turnover-prone, believe it or not. Ellis is playing a ton of minute, on a team that gets a lot of possessions per 48 minutes, and he has the ball in his hands a lot.
good. I'm playing against him this week on fantasy. heheh.. he had 9 tonight. Arenas had like 12 in a game earlier this year.
He is on a team of misfits (including the coach) and has to play like Superman for them to win. He's trying to do way too much. Still, that's too many turnovers.
A combination of Ellis+Bosh could be deadly, and key pieces for Ricks offense. I would love to see that tandem go together. If only ;(
Those are Steve Francis type numbers even though he plays in a run and gun type offense thats far too many turnovers.
He has his ball in his hands all the time plus hes played 48 minutes the last 5 games. The Warriors offense is like watching playground basketball which also causes some...Im sure if he were in the right O his TOs wouldnt be anywhere near as bad.
Heh, Monta is on my fantasy team. Amazingly, he's been putting up such incredible numbers elsewhere that he's still been more than worth the 4th-rounder I took him with.
Monta is a stud in fantasy league. I would only recommend keeping him if you have a low turnover team. Arenas has been a killer on TO's. I have him on my league. One day he's got really solid stats and the next day he has bad stats.... Westbrook is up there with them as well.
He wouldn't hurt my team then. I have 511 turnovers in my league the next closest person has 498 smh. I haven't won a turnover battle all year.
