What hapend to him, I remember he was a big part of the 05-06 lakers who took the suns to 7 games. In 19 minutes per game he averaged 8.1 points and shot 42% from three point line and many thought he would even get better. Alot of people from Houston wanted him because he was a big that could spread the court with his shot. His numbers with the lakers were not spectacular but compare to now what did Orlando do to him.

He's been absent for the past 3 years. Never had a high ceiling. Probably won't be in the league after this season.

well you did ask what happened to him, so i am guessing you want to know how he is in the present, not past. and you did mention houston

He needs to play off a star to shoot open that Rox do not have right now. And although he can shoot, his soft than softie defense often more than kills it.

I agree. I think it's the defense more than anything. With no true center or shot-blocker and a small point guard who needs help d, we can't afford to have a crappy interior defender at the 4 or 5 (see joey dorsey, d-league).

Anderson also makes Brian Cook irrelevant. Morey said he was on the team to "spread the floor" but Anderson does this as well or better and is less afraid of defending.

    please excuse my o.

Along with the correct pronunciation of Budinger the Anderson/Andersen nit-picking is my favorite form of clutchfans snobbery this season.

On a side note, I've never been a good Rockets speller. In college I turned in a feature story on Deke where I incorrectly spelled his last name through the entire article. Could have used you then Dr. Nuebegauer (whose name is ironically difficult to spell).

Still don't know why this big guy like so much for 3 point shooting. He is tall and strong enough to do some dirty work in the paint area.Since he can' be the major option for the offense, why not just change into a blue collar.

Why rox still keep this guy is only because of his expiring contract,I totally agree with this, but for cook himself its a kind of pity, and really embarrased.Though the hope for this guy to stay here is really slim.we wish him could find a job somewhere else, chinese basketball league maybe a good option.Boss yao please recommend him a offer.

In my memory, even with the Lakers he couldn't conribute defense. Maybe his offense was better 3 years ago, but I think only Laker fans care him and know why he's got worse during these years. One thing I guess is that he is not hardworking.
