Chicago and Toronto are the 2 most disappointing teams in the league so far this year. Both were supposed to be in play for the 4th seed.

 

A winning franchise starts and ends with the owner. If the owner is out to make cash as priority 1, 2 and 3, then no matter how good your GM is its only a matter of time before the franchise sinks into mediocrity. Chicago had a lot of potential from the time they unloaded Curry into the Knicks, but their owner kept on sabotaging the franchise just to feed his white sox team.

On the other hand Toronto has way to many holes in their roster to be good. Apart from wing production I think their biggest problem is that their two best players both play the same position. If I was Colangelo I would have unloaded Bosh for a good C and wing a year ago.

 

The Bulls lost Ben Gordon, their best offensive player. They weren't much with him last year. I expected a very low playoff seeding at best. The raptors didn;t do anything but add Hedo to a terrible team.

 

I could have stolen that and got a layup.
