I'm waiting for this, I saw the highlights and it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

You can't be a top 10 passing team without a running game. Brees & Manning wouldn't be undefeated without a running game. You have to make the defense honor the run or they will simply rush 3 or 4 & drop 7 or 8 into coverage. With 7 or 8 covering 3 or 4 receivers, that's throwing into double coverage every time. Every NFL coach insists on a running game!!! If you fire Kubiak, his replacement will insist on a running game. You need to take Football 101 over again.

I thought Manning's running game has been as non-existent as the Texans this year? Which is part of what makes what his team is doing so remarkable. Their offense is almost exclusively passing.

It was a calculated maneuver that failed. If CB makes that throw everyone would be saying what a genius Kubiak is. They'll finish 9-7...Kubiak will get another year. I don't think he's a bad coach. I think for the most part his players continually let him down.

this team is gonna go 4-0 now, after going 0-4, and beat the Pats and Dolphins?

    no, they're not.

does this need its own thread? Schaub definitely dislocated his left shoulder, and he had them put it back in so he could go play. he'll have to play with pain (and probably pain-killing injections) if he wants to keep going the rest of the season

    you're a few steps behind...

i'm already in the 'oh well, we stink, there is always next year' frame of mind.

I quit letting the texans ruin my mood. In fact, i couldnt stop laughing from the CB pass. hilarious.

Wrong. EVEN IF CB makes that throw, it's a stupid playcall. Given the circumstances, you don't need to go gadget play. You had them on the ropes.

I don't think he's a bad coach either per se, but he's a terrible HEAD coach. Maybe as a coordinator or a lesser role, but ... definitely not hc material.

How did the Texans not pick up on this in practice or self-study?

Duane Brown was allegedly tipping plays based on his stance...

he never gets the oppurtunity. thats why i'll take larry fitzgerald, cuz ive seen him time after time go up and get it for a TD....i'd like to see how dominant AJ can really be in the redzone, but they never give him a chance. blows my mind.

Not happy with Shanahan/Kubiak in the least.

Why in the hell doesn't AJ get the ball more? Make plays that get him the ball; he's your best weapon.

Did you see Phil Jackson running plays for Kukoc late in the fourth quarter? Holy crap.

Not to mention the defensive coaches during their self-study at the Bye. You'd think we'd have someone who'd help our DL pick up on such tendencies for opposing lineman...

Dude you didn't know that Chris Brown is our best option in the redzone? At least Kubiak thinks he is.
