why are you surprised? clutchfans has been like this for awhile. like U2 said on Helter Skelter, "This is the song stolen by Charles Manson, we're stealing it back" we're u2, the rest are Charles Manson. Out of all the fanbases, the Houston Rocket fans should be sympathetic to big men or superstars getting hurt. Unless, of course, they don't know anything about the Rockets. I always want to the Rockets to face a team that's 100% healthy so we can say we beat them at their best. wishing other teams to have injury is cowardly.
I wish him well. He was a solid player before the injury. Yeah he ended Deke's career but it's clearly unintentional.
I feel sorry for NO one. I don't wish anything bad on anyone, but don't feel sorry for anyone either (do the Lakers or Suns feel sorry for us? Hell no!). Yao is out, T-Mac is out, Artest is gone. We've replaced Artest (with Ariza), Now is the time to replace Yao & T.(0.)-Mac... with above average role players. I love this team! A couple of additions could be all it takes to take us to the promised land. Go Rox!
Yea same, hope he recovers but why do any of you guys feel sorry for Oden specifically? Going to make a thread everytime someone gets injured? Everyone is just trying to be classy, but its a bloody internet forum..
When it's a season ending injury on a hard-luck player, who is widely recognized to be a great guy, and the injury happened during the course of a Rockets game which many of us witnessed live on TV? Yes, it is OK to make a thread to wish the guy well instead of posting something b****y and classless.
Well, it was Aaron Brooks a 150 pound guy who ran into him. That shows that there's something seriously wrong with his conditioning/luck. Wish him the best though. Feel sorry for Portland. Hopefully, there season doesn't fall apart
Poor guy, I really feel sorry for him. Our trainer I forget his name showed a lot of class. He was the first one on the court holding and caressing him.
This too will pass Greg just keep getting better. This Rocket fan is pulling for ya to get better. Fierguard
The image still lingers in my mind, of Greg Oden coming down with a monster rebound and then elbowing the air three or four times with the machismo of an adolescent, with no one even ten feet near him except a recumbent Dikembe, writhing on the floor knowing that his Hall of Fame career had ended in one play.
