I'm going to laugh when Tracy never sets foot on the court again and you sulk and cry in your little corner. Go ahead. Whine more. McGrady lacks heart. That is the only thing that is keeping him from being anywhere near Kobe.
You're right, deke was one of those leaders, maybe the most important with his experience and leadership in the locker room and the bench, everyone listened. to him and he was respected a lot. But we dont have him now, it's a shame.
Also... I do agree. We need a decent closer that is pretty consistent. However, Tracy McGrady is not the answer.
.... so McGrady is absolutely healthy player, who doesn't miss any games in last five years. Almost Andre Miller type of player
Well, besides his injuries. I'm talking about his mental game. He is too weak and he just doesn't seem to love the game.
I think McGrady doesn't have enough concentration. Series with Mash-less Hornets, Pistons and Mavs are proving that. He can't make the things over. He can't totally finished what he started...
I agree that he seems to be weak at some point and he doesn't show passion or leadership on the court, he just takes the ball and tries to make the game 1 on 5 in the clutch, typical of go to guys, they're almost selfish, but not only T-mac... that kind of attitude tends tu ruin the team chemistry that i'm loving so much.
you may or may not be kidding, but i actually think you had a point. morey: landry and chase summarizes his drafting ability; adelman? take the #1 and #2 guy off any team and see how they fare. enough said.
It was Deke once, and now it is Battier who makes big difference on attitude of teammates toward game.
Those guys are beasts, especially Landry. I used to get them confused now I got 'em spot up. Even NBA's YouTube account put Lowry's block as Landry's Monster Block. <3 You Landry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dgk8VYHRgA
Mutumbo was once the heart. Now there is a battle between Scola, Hayes and Landry to become the official heart. Just to let you know, Hayes is in the lead. Battier is akin to the soul in that, a lot of the younger players seem to be taking cues from his professionalism and defense. Although, it might indeed be Morey or Adelman's vision that crafted this team's soul.
let's not overplay it. it's an analogy after all. i mean i just can't stand the thought that battier is the soul, hayes is the heart, then what? that landry is the liver, scola is the kidney, lowry the lung, brooks the stomach?
Landry is all heart and all soul for the Rockets Lowry plays way above his size but i think he's only doing it for his next contract, which is good for us tho.
The last time I saw anyone who played like Lowry was in my Suns fan childhood in AZ... Anybody remember this guy? 'Taz'... Ron Lee. Still all-time leading scorer at Oregon (did you hear that AB?) Built similarly but went about 6'4" in his kicks... how much more value would Lowry carry with that kind of size?
