How can you not wish this poor guy some luck? Hopefully all these injuries won't force him to just hang it up and he won't be spending most of his playing career on crutches. Good luck and speedy recovery, G.O. - you deserve better!
dammit since he got drafted i always wanted to see him play like he did on college and now has been 2 yrs and he got injured again!!!omg!!
man, all things aside, I don't really care about the franchise draft pick or his potential at this point. No young should have this happen to him, especially a young guy as nice as he is, he didn't deserve this one bit. I believe he'll come back strong he does have a team of guys and a city behind him.
Always sucks to see real basketballers go down. Hope he recovers. So..are we going to makle a thread for every single injury now? (Minus Jazz+Lakers)
It is very painful to see any athlete take such a devastating injury like Oden has taken. It is only more painful physically and mentally for the athlete himself to go through it again and again. The road will once again be long and hard but never give up on your dreams because of setbacks and injuries. My sincerest thoughts go out to you Greg, and I wish for you to have a full recovery.
I think everyone wishes the young man well. I didn't mean to sound cold. But it doesn't bode well - especially since there was no contact that caused the fracture.
yeah best wishes to him. i kinda feel sorry for the guy, after all he really hasnt played long enough to get it going yet, and maybe some experts should start looking into these weird big men injuries as they do seem to happen more often than they should, for no known reasons..... think about the insurance money the balzers have to pay for oden over the years.....
After all the luck we've been given the past decade, all I have to say is that I hope every other team gets to feel our pain. Oden gets no love from me--he ended Deke's career and who knows how we might have done against the Lakers if we had had Deke for the series.
Can't imagine how depressed I would be if I was going through the same thing. The money he has in the bank softens the blow a little bit but I'm sure as a professional athlete, he would much rather be out there trying to earn his money than rehabbing another injury. Wish him the best at trying to get back on the court.
Knee injuries might be his worst nightmares of all time and it's like a curse that's put on him since he was drafted, damn, big fella, regardless of what you did to Deke last playoff, I'm not in the mood to see you go down like that. Good luck G.O. and quick recovery from fracturing left knee cap.
