I wasn't gonna say anything about this but its starting to cost us in crunch time. Why the hell does Ariza have the "green light" to shoot? In the past 3 games he has been 7-16, 8-19, and 3-12. His shot volume is almost highest in the league. It isn't just his shooting, I know kids at the YMCA who have better handles than this guy. As if offense was enough, why does adelman put ariza on roy on defense? He is always gonna gamble and 99% of the time lose. Battier is always going to force a jumpshot and that is what we NEED. Adelman's love for ariza has to STOP!! If this continues, it may cost us even more games.

This is how he will become a better shooter. Just give him time.

It's not like we're playing for the championship this year... just let him develop for the future.

    Why....?

He is going to be here next year. This is the first time in the NBA when he has been given quality NBA minutes to develop his offensive game. I see some potential there.

The same goes for Brooks, Lowry, Anderson, Landry.

We are doing the best we can with the situation we have been given. Ariza is never going to be the #1 offensive option on a championship team or even #2, but he can be a good #3.

This joke is starting to become as overused and lame as people saying that Dikembe/Greg Oden are 55 years old playing in the NBA.

Umm, 7-16 and 8-19 aren't bad for a perimeter player. Not great, but not bad. Low 40%'s is what Tmac has shot almost his entire career.

McGrady also has the ability to get others involved when his shot isn't there. Ariza Hmmmm never seen it.

Ariza serioulsy needs to spend all summer working on ball handling.
it would make him 10 times better.

Speaking of YMCA, last time Kenny on TNT actually was joking about Monte Ellis' travel on the game-ending possession . Like YMCA basketball coach teaches kids to dribble first before trying to stepping.

Have these guys ever been guarded by NBA players?

he's shooting 38.2% on basically single coverages, + his share of open shots.

Nice to know you're comparing YMCA players to NBA players. But anyways, who really cares? It's not like Adelman loves him. What do you want him to do? Not start him? Replace him with who? Ariza is doing his thing, just let him do it. Him guarding Roy was smart, because Battier was holding Miller who was killing us in the 3rd quarter. So just calm down and let the Rockets play their game. We did not lose because of the Ariza.

For Sure. Completely agree wit you

    Interesting fact:

LeBron James 18,3 FGA per Game - 27,3 PPG
Trevor Ariza 17,2 FGA per Game - 17,6 PPG

It's fun and sad in one moment....
