Given that most women like to be thought of as sexual icons (whether they admit it or not), I would probably say they wear them for the same reason they wear short skirts and really tight jeans: they want to be noticed and sought after. The sexual revolution was indeed a wonderful thing. The modern woman is a sexual beast and there is really no reason for women to pretend otherwise or decry such trends, I understand Americans still like to think of themselves as religious and on the conservative side, but it is deeply hypocritical. I long for the day when Americans drop the act (because it really is only an act, we all know we are a bunch of freaks inside) and just enjoy sex the way it is meant to be. Shed those inhibitions, America!
