I was sort of conflicted here, because I usually root for the underdogs, but I also root for continuing incredible streaks.

Actually, nah I wasn't that conflicted. I wanted the Nets to go 0-82. Oh well. Still a chance for them not to reach 9 wins.

You root for the futility record to be broken but you strongly oppose getting Illgauskas into the potential-record breaking game (in front of family and friends) for a few minutes.

It won't be record setting until you post the wrong team 18 times in a row... I guess.

Man, what happened to the Cavs-Bulls game that I just finished watching? I thought for a minute that I was watching a replay on ESPN-the LeBron James channel.

They get their 1st win of the season against the Bobcats, and they celebrate like they won a playoff again?

    :)

Outside of them both involving "records", there is no connection whatsoever on these topics. And, moreover, I was never opposed to Ilgauskas getting his record, so I don't understand what point you're attempting to make there.

Now, if I had written that I wanted the Nets coach to purposely lose games to set the futility record, then you might have a case of there being a double standard.

I'm surprised that their tickets aren't free at this point. Lol.

I was thinking that we could be the NETS and 1-18. No one gave us a shot with Yao and Tracy injured. Then with Ron-Ron defecting to La-La Land. Seriously, Ariza can't carry a team.

Truth be told, Adelman and Morey have done a fantastic job, and we've been lucky being relatively injury free with our current group of guys out there.

As Rudy said, "Never underestimate the heart of a champion."
