Doubt it. He will get some votes, but the truth is NBA fans voted for Yao and Mac because they wanted to see them in it.

He doesn't deserve it, make him stay home and learn to dribble.

Every damn play he would try to go 1 on 1 or over dribble.

    I lost my voice tonight.

tell the truth, as a chinese, i have to accept that i started to pay more attention to rx because of the participation of yao, but as a enthusiastic fans over the past 7 years, i have been increasingly attracted by this team, even if yao will be traded in 2010, i will absolutely be a sincere backer of rox, however, along with the injury of yao, i found that the number of people who watch the rox games, and the number of tv-broadcast matches have plummeted. so, i believe that ariz is less similar to most of people in chinese. as a result, the possiblity of crazy voting to ariza is slim. on the other hand, considering the ariza's overall abilities, i feel improving his dribble is far more practical than be a overrated player in a meaningless all star game.

    Aaron Brooks is more deserving.

The more important fact was, neither of them but Yao and Tracy became all-stars.

What do you mean "became" all stars? Tmac didnt play in the all star game last year. You said the chinese vote is "overrated" Obviously not if guys like alston, scola, battier etc are among the leaders. Unless US voters voted them into contention

    Little harsh?

Every player not named LeBron James or Kobe Bryant could work on things during the break.

Well, you have misunderstood my point. Obviously Chinese fans have certain influence on all-star selection but the influence were not strong enough to make guys like Alston, Scola, Battier etc to be elected as all-stars. That's said, Ariza may get some votes from China this year but I doubt it would be enough to make him an All-star.

I don't think chinese fans would vote ariza to be an all-star.Though most of them don'thow to judge a player based on their performance on the court. To Be realistic, best decision for trevor ariza is stay at TOYOTA center and practice his poor dribbling.maybe mac will spare some time to teach him :p

As an objective Chinese fan, I won't vote for Trevor because he has not reached that level yet
