id like to think that tmac will stay. but i really dont think thats going to happen. What I'd miss the most are those times when he takes control of the game. It was fun to watch when he succeeded, an frustrating when he didnt. Who will ever forget the game against the spurs??

here's to hoping he will change his attitude and get his game back so he can play some more seasons here.

Don't you feel sorry for the next team McGrady will be on? They will never get out of the first round.

I am sure they will be afraid. Imagine the team that gets him, no first round wins for as long as he is playing? How much torture can they endure.

Isn't this thread a bit premature? I mean the only thing that has come out is the Yahoo story.

Start packing your bags now then and don't post anymore. This is a Houston Rockets "fan" site. Obviously you put him above the team. IMO Tracy made his own bed. If he had the right attitude by just working hard and keeping his mouth shut over the years I'm sure the team would welcome him back. At this point my wishes are to trade him for something of value and the team continues to play hard for the rest of the season and into the playoffs.

I also think it's a little early. With all the crazy drama we've seen so far, I would not be surprised to see Tmac on the court again.

That said, I remember watching the 13 in 35. My gf said 'why are we watching? It's over!'

I played it over the top and said 'YOU ALWAYS WATCH THE ENTIRE GAME. Always. ALWAYS.'

And BOOYAKASHA I was screaming and ran outside when we won it.

I'll leave my comments about Tmac at that.

Dude. Yahoo! has never been wrong before. Adrian Wojnarowski knows more about what's going on with the Rockets than anyone else.

Even if it's likely that he's gone, he's still here. He's even on the bench cheering on his teammates. Premature thread.

Don't expect Ariza, Battier, and Budinger will be all injury-free this season. Tmac is the injury-insurance.

Why does this come to mind when I think about reclaiming the website from T-Mac?

Good bye Mac. You brought me here to Houston, I loved ya in your Orlando years and also as a Rocket. Man, you just talk too much, you should've better shut your mouth when talking with the media. That caused many problems for you :( .
Everyone knows that it's not your fault that you never got out of the 1st round. Maybe some evil power doesnt let you win :p , but you played hard all the time. Through injuries, without good teammates etc...
I still hope that the Rockets play you atleast one last time. ;)

    T-MAC TO THE RACK!!!

While I agree with you, it appears you are beating a dead horse. For those that say T-Mac fans are narrow minded or whatever, they appear to be the same in their stances on getting rid of him or he's some type of cancer. If/when he's traded, the first game he returns I wanna be there. And I want "The Kobe Stopper" to guard him. That's gonna be fun.

I may be in the minority here, but I am turned off by the T-Mac drama as much as I am the PR blitz to convince fans that this team as presently constructed will be making major noise in the spring. Bill and Matt are as annoying with their repeated "gotta love this team" or "this team plays hard" statements as the complaints made about TOF or YOF.

I know Morey has been tight lipped about things but it would nice for he or Les to end this speculation one way or another. This spectacle is not solely the fault of T-Mac. For the good of the organization, this has to end by January.

I especially appreciate his 13 in 35, since I was there. Lately he has been doing a good job of keeping his mouth shut, so I think there is still a chance the Rockets will play him this year.

    the whole Tmac thing this year brings back a couple of memories;

    1. Rockets Claimed Hakeem was faking an injury to get more money...the best offers they could get for him were Glen Rice, or Stanley Roberts ( thats right!) ...comes a new owner new management; the rest is history
    2. Steve Francis (granted his knees may have been busted) and How stubborn Adelman became a couple of years ago. to me it seems like if there is any conflict, he will plant his feet in his position , pout, and does not budge. all i know, I Hope he sticks around after this season, because if he costs this team a talent like McGrady and his contract is not renewed . the Rockets organization becomes the big loser.

and i've said before no matter how good Ariza becomes , he does not have the talent Mac did. hate to repeat myself, but the opposing coaches much rather play against a team w/o TMac than one with, in the Playoffs.

one last thing to say, why is it that Houston fans , and media ( chronicle) lack any loyalty? remember Warren Moon . man got a a couple of concussions, (gets into a fight with his wife- that was no one's business) and after all he did for the Oilers, everyone starts talking about running him out of town. turns out Commander Cody was a bust,

be careful, Arriza could be a another Commander Cody .

I don't know what is going on in that locker room, but i appreciate the talent TMac has, and hope he sticks around.

no reason to attack the man, or his integrity ( or anyone else's; including Adelman)
    ...
as long as he wears a Rocket Red I am a fan.

    that's my two cents

Commander Cody isn't the highest paid player in the NBA.

That's an important part you forgot. The math.

How's 23 million dollars of freedom for Morey and Rick the Ruler sound to ya?

no doubt , he is still with the team, so until then how about we stick behind the guy, even if he leaves we wish him the best, he brough excitement to a rockets team that lacked it when francis and mobley couldn't get us into the playoffs, plus if anyone notices, mcgrady is always on the bench showing animation, rooting the team on, if there was really something going on dont you think he would be in a bad mood, and missing games and practices.
