Jason Kidd is 23 again?? Holy crap maybe thats why the Mavs are doing well. My guess would be Mike Conley?
Interesting, the comparison tells you alot about Lowry's game. It also says that Lowry is very effective when he's in the game. But we have to keep in mind that his minutes are low and he's doing it against backups. Jason Kidd was playing much more and getting his stats vs. starters.
aren't those four most relevant stats for a PG? I wouldn't make much of a comparison when Kyle is still significantly less efficient in those areas that matters the most.
I don't think steals is that important, and TS% is more important than FG%, Lowry has TS% of .527, kidd has .498 But yes, Lowry does have worse Ast/TO ratio, he could definiely be more seasoned there
It's actually not as far off as you might think. Steve Nash, age 24 (3rd season): .363 FG%, .374 3P%, .826 FT% Nash's 3rd season might be one of the strangest statistical anomalies in basketball history. His TS% went from .556 in his 2nd year, down to .471 in his 3rd year, then all the way up to .601 in his 4th year. His TS% hasn't dipped below .576 ever since, and his career TS% is .604.
