i had to live in SA for four years. you dont realize as a rockets fan how much my dislike for the spurs accumulated. and i just dont like the celtics personally so i hope pierce picks a fight with tony and it spills over to both benches! heres to hoping that being said from a basketball point of view its going be a very good defensive battle its all about which all star lights up, so many of them in this game duncan parker pierce garnett allen all with great supporting casts gonna be a good game for sure
True, but he more than makes up for it with his defense, playmaking, rebounding and his ability to finish around the basket.
his defense and play making are overrated to me but yeah he gets a lot of rebounds for a pg and he has good finishes
What is it about his defense, court vision, passing skills, etc... that you find overrated? I'm not saying I disagree with you. I don't watch him enough to offer a strong opinion.
Anything is possible, including taking the art of douchebaggery on the basketball court to new levels.
I don't mean to flame, and this is my last word on the subject, but give me a confident "douche" who cares about his team's performance. Please do NOT give me the players from the mentally soft, pampered current generation that expend all their energy cultivating their image. This applies in any profession actually. It doesn't matter what KG, Pierce, Rondo and Perkins do on the court, because they are "pricks" fans will interpret everything they do as "douchebaggery." Every game they win will be rigged.
