Just got one a couple of days ago. It looks pretty good and has a lot of features on it and everything. But for some reason a message keeps popping up telling me "The memory is full. Please delete some messages." The thing is there aren't any messages in my phone. It won't let me receive or compose a message. Any reason why it's telling me this? The only thing I really added to my phone were songs so far. Maybe around 30 to 40 songs. Anyone else have a HTC tilt 2 By the way, is this phone any good, is it worth keeping?
this is the best phone on the market right now. hands down. Do you have a micro-SD card? did you load the songs on to the phone memory? that might be the problem. I'd strongly suggest you invest in a micro SD memory card (they run for like 10 bucks) and put all the songs on it. If problems persist, just hard-reset it by hitting "clear memory" from the settings tab. enjoy it and please don't scratch the screen or drop the phone, it's a badass phone!

Yea I was thinking about grabbing one of those cards tomorrow. I just gotta get use to this phone, my last phone was so basic in comparison.
You have 180 -280 MB available on the TILT 2. ( I know the TP2 has 180) 40 songs at 4mb each is 160 MB. You probably added a program here or there too, and your contacts/some pics take up the rest of the space. Delete some songs, and you should be able to text fine. Get a microSD card and save all songs on there. The TP2 is a nice phone, and from what I have seen the Tilt 2 is nicer.
