Poor Scola, look at that eye. <object width="388" height="394" classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" id="ep"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="movie" value="http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/.element/swf/1.1/cvp/nba_embed_container.swf?context=rockets&videoId=teams/rockets/2009/12/01/scolaforwebFastStart512Kmov-1140313" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><embed src="http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/.element/swf/1.1/cvp/nba_embed_container.swf?context=rockets&videoId=teams/rockets/2009/12/01/scolaforwebFastStart512Kmov-1140313" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" bgcolor="#000000" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="388" wmode="transparent" height="394"></embed></object>
"Da Da Dum" lol! It seems the rockets think the writers at the Houston chron. are full of crap. ..I think they are.
that eye is pretty swollen up. dang! I like scola's attitude of it being part of the game. Reminds me of that story morey told about last playoff with scola having all the bruises and him saying, "pau's got it worse." or soemthing like that. Man i would hate to play vs scola.
i'd have to take keith over scola, since you know, he's constantly injuring all of our players, he'd take scola down just as easily....
maybe they should find a way to get him in the game towards the end of one of the quarters so he can keep his games played streak alive. If it doesnt hinder the team it would be a nice jester although personal goals are not a part of this team's makeup. I think everyone on the team would be happy for Luis to keep the streak alive.
i dont think it's a big deal, if you think about it, it's not that much closer than seeing it in person, which they all did, and probably were staring at it all interview. It's not like he had it covered with the patch and they peeked under it without him knowing. It actually helps see what he was refering to , that he got cut towards the tear duct.
*NOTE* I DONT WANT TO TURN THIS INTO A T-MAC THREAD SO PLEASE DON'T! But was Battier's joke a T-Mac vs RA fight joke, or just a joke about how tough Scola was to sit that they'd have to fight him to stay on the bench?
It was a digg at the Chron over-blowing the Tmac, RA "discussion." Batt implying they were probably going to morph something small like Scola's cut into Rockets discourse behind the scenes.. Notice no one laughed? Batt putting their journalistic integrity on blast.. Hilarious!
