    July 13 - The Rockets fell behind early and were never able to catch up Saturday as Houston dropped its first summer league contest, 91-83, to the L.A. Lakers. Houston, which fell to 2-1 in summer league action, was led by Eddie Griffin, who dropped in 13 points. Griffin was hampered by foul trouble throughout the game and was limited to just 23 minutes before fouling out. Terence Morris posted a double-double for the Rockets with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Tierre Brown added 11 points. Kyle Hill and Tito Maddox with 10 points apiece were Houston's other lone double-digit scorers.

    Kareem Rush injured his hand/wrist in a game a day or two ago and wasn't suited up, but was sitting on the bench.

    What happend to Mike Penberthy? He was a big part of the Lakers successful season two years ago until he got injured.
