Awww...here we go again...yet another discussion about system players and QBs. Personally, I have something to say about this, when has there ever been a great QB who won the Super Bowl in a bad or sub-par offensive system or an offense with a poor line, terrible receivers, bad coach, and vertically challenged mover at RB.
Man, this Ed Hochuli crew is either doing an incredible job of making the correct calls or purposely trying to make this game excruciating. I can't decide which. All I do know is there's a penalty on every single play.
Seriously think Mario has that much of an Impact on the Defense? I guess I can see it. Remove Mario from this defense. . . I think it looks worse than the Colts looked in the 1st half without Freeney [Give Peyton the time Matt had in the 1st half. . . . ] Rocket River
He was starting to scare me a bit in the 3rd when he started staring his WR's down and throwing into double coverage. Otherwise he's been GREAT [knock on wood] Not to mention, he had that 30+ yard run called back and a 40-yard or so bomb that hit Mike Wallace on the hands that could have been six.
For as much as I like DD, I don't like the odds of him going down the field in under two minutes. Limiting the Ratbirds to a FG here is critical.
That was a 10-yard gain if Troy was out there. Call me a sourpuss, call me a whiner, whatever. Some of these missed tackles vanish whenever certain people play!
Got screwed today in FF, driving home from St. Louis didn't get a chance to take Warner out of my lineup. At least the Titans kept their faint playoff hopes alive on the back of VY. Hard to believe the Titans were 0-6, and the Texans were 5-3, and both share the same record now.
GOOD GOD, CAN PITTSBURGH'S SPECIAL TEAMS COVERAGE REALLY BE THIS BAD?!?!!?! Thank goodness for the flag-happy Hochuli crew.
Whoever Billy Cundiff is nearly just checked me into the insane asylum if he would have hit that 56-yard FG to win the game.
