I don't disagree that he could help, but I doubt it would be enough to get us where we need to be, so I'd rather keep developing Budinger in place of his role.

Euros like to split up minutes without regarding difference in talent and selflessness is a must. You can't be lodging serious Euroleague minutes unless you are willing to always pass the ball.

A lot of players have a extremely rough time making the transition from the American basketball to the Euroleague. Jennings are garbage during his tenure in Italy but is a star here in the NBA.

For his (numerous) flaws, Wafer could put the ball in the basket.

Sure could have used some of that in the 3rd quarter.

If Wafer would have stayed he would've gotten a bunch minutes and really been able to showcase for a good contract. I guess he was just eager to make big bucks.

And this is what a bad attitude will get you. The only reason so many have put up with Tracy in the NBA is because he could score, it was never his leadership or hardwork.

FWIW, Wafer's numbers aren't much worse than Brandon Jennings' numbers last year, and look how he turned out...

why are we still talking about wafer? he's a rocket for a short while and he's gone. there are too many come-and-goners for every nba team. you can find someone like wafer in the draft or via trade easily every year.

Tell that to his former coach and teammates, who complained that he never really understood the offense and repeatedly failed to execute it properly. Luckily for Wafer, his talent bailed him out more often than not Or tell it to the teammates who called him "Radio" behind his back, in honor of the movie where Cuba Gooding, Jr. played the "low IQ" title character.

I was listening to 610 AM on the Radio, and the commentators during the Rocket's game said "There's time like this where Von Wafer is missed, creating that instant offense."

The Wafer apologists know no shame. He was BANNED for the Greek League season already by his coach. It's already done.

Not really. We miss T-Mac more. Wafer would be whining about playing time.
