Making his Team Members Better ? How do you see Steve Francis playing this role now that he will have competitent scorers on the Team, besides Cat Mobley? He is the Leader and Point Guard isn't he?

Not only does Steve step up as a leader, but Rudy works his magic to get everyone (and their personalities) working together.

eddie and ming could both potentially be the most important players on this team but i doubt it will be as early as this year. steve and cat will still be the primary scorers and eddie/ming will both have to earn theirs through hard work. forutnately they both seem up to the task.

steve's biggest improvement must be in determining when to get these guy's their shots and when to take his. he is NOT selfish, just indecisive. i've never read steve as the guy who waives players off just to pad his stats. imo, particularly last year, he had such a desire to win that he trusted himself more than the langhi's and tmo's he could pass too. as griffin excels look for steve to be the first one to dump it in to him.

Before this year, Steve's problem always was being TOO unselfish. I think he'll do fine.

people say steve is a scorer and he doesnt pass. i say "who would you like him to pass too?". people say cat and steve only pass to eachother. thats because they are the only two that can score on this team.

game after game i hear calvin say steve needs to get himself more involved. i've seen too many games where steve has only 6 points headed to the fourth when he decides to take over and scores 15 in the fourth finnishing with 21 and a heart-breaking loss. the same goes for cat aswell.

why do we fall behind early in the game all the time? because steve and cat will let their teamates get involved first.
