Just trying to understand what you've been saying about voters and all. This way we know for sure what you are predicting so you don't come in two weeks from now and say "I told you so."

So what is it? Will Texas move down this week?

Not if Auburn holds on to their current 4th quarter lead...

Texas fans were upset that OU was going, but every BCS standings from the end of October through the end of the year had OU ahead of Texas, I believe - so it wasn't really surprising that OU went Texas kept trying to claw closer every week but couldn't quite get all the way there.

Remember the whole 45-35 campaign was to try to convince voters to change their mind and push Texas ahead. Oddly enough (and surprising to me), it actually worked and Texas ended up ahead in the polls, but due to Missouri's loss to Kansas and Nebraska beating Colorado, OU's schedule got a boost while Texas' fell, and it was enough to put OU over the top in the computers.

Thanks to A&M for giving UT a nice entertaining game.

I'm a big...no make that huge, die hard UT fan. I love poking fun at A&M and it's fans. Make no mistake I would love to come in here and boast about the Heisman type performance that Colt had during the game, I mean damn....who throws for over 300 yards and then rushes for almost another 200 yards.

I would like to point out the classy response the A&M fans as well as the A&M coaching staff and players demonstrated as the UT player was carried off of the field. There are times that we all need to remember that this is a game and at the end of the day those players are just young men just starting out their adult lives. All of the people from College Station were excellent examples of great sportsmanship.

Do you have a serious answer?

As you said earlier in the thread, you can't help but give up (paraphrased). Why is that?

So, first off, my apologies good sir. I did not think there was a chance in hell of this being a shootout, and I was dead wrong. You're whole description of the game was eerily accurate (minus the final score, of course, ) and you definitely deserve props for that.

The weirdest thing is, I don't really feel like our defense played that terribly. I mean sure there were missed tackles here and there, but watching the game it really felt like we were just unable to stop the Aggies' offense. They are wayyy better than I gave them credit for and Johnson is undoubtedly a beast. Some of those throws he made were just incredible. That trio of Johnson, Michael, and Fuller has me already worried about next Thanksgiving.

That being said, I am ecstatic to walk out of here with a win, and cannot wait until Saturday. I honestly believe that if the 'Horns go on to win it all, this will be the game that gave them the mentality they will need to beat Alabama or Florida.

One last thing: I've held this notion for a while that most Aggie fans (at least on the internet) were pretty classless, mostly in regards to the constant "Cart McCry" nicknames that get thrown around. However, the reaction that the crowd gave Beasley when he was down was awesome. This die-hard Longhorn fan walked away last night impressed with both the Aggie football team as well as the Aggie fanbase. See you next year!

Ya bad assumption. Aggies for the most part are a pretty solid crowd. Tech. Its Tech that's nasty. Tech.

Well thank you sir I appreciate the props...the game could have gone either way Texas could have blown it open if shipley doesnt muff the punt and if we could tackle and play special teams could of maybe came away with a victory....very happy with the effort we showed and that it was such an exciting game...honestly i give ur offensive coordinator major props because I had no idea colt had those wheels nor did I expect him to tuck it and run I believe some of those plays were designed and it was genius

watch this video closely, the overconfident techie jumps up to our section wanting to brawl, and proceeds to get a good gig 'em ass-whopping from the 12th man.

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8DSRsieiGWg&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8DSRsieiGWg&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

When the bonfire collapsed, Texas showed great respect and class. Tech didn't do $h!t. Techies rushed the field after one of our games there and violated the female members of the corps (squeezing boobs, slapping butts, etc). Bunch of classless punks.

moral of the story, **** Tech

Yep, pretty much everyone that goes to Tech is exactly like that. We are all the same and all act like that all the time. A genius assumption from an excellent academia.
