Ron Artest might be the most fascinating person I read about. That or news writers are all in on a massive inside joke where they slip in a fake but plausible anecdote about Artest everytime they write about him. Who could tell whether it's real or not? Someone with more enthusiasm should gather up all the random Artest stories such as the one above and post them here. I've read soo many random and hilarious news items on Artest, having a collection of them will make people realize just how entertaining and fascinating Artest is.
The circuit city thing is actually funny - IIRC, he applied as a rookie right when he first moved to Chicago in the summer and was actually planning on really working there for awhile to get the discount (which I thought was more than 5% btw) - the Bulls/Jerry Kraus found out about it though and made him quit.
Artest doesn't post all the tweets on his account, I recall his producer Q or one of his other people does it for him.
