Rick doesn't seem to be that type of coach. He puts his best players who can produce in the game and he seems to give everyone a shot.

I say give a little more credit to the coach and front office who have made such good decisions and choices for this team thus far. A weapon as good as a healthy competitive McGrady is not something Coach would keep off the court because his feelings were hurt. He will bring McGrady back when he(McGrady) and the team are ready. When that happens we will just have to sit back and enjoy.

I'm sure a fresh-out-of-rehab McGrady will do wonders for our defense which is the biggest problem right now.

Mcgrady's not that bad of a defender, he was hobbling last year so you expect that, he was injured but I don't think any orther year that was an issue. Ortherwise Im sure theirs no way he would have played under jvg.

Team has no interest in playing Tmac. I believe Les and Morey gave RA a talk from the very get go, saying, "No Yao, no Tmac your job is safe this season, just make the Rockets fun and exciting to watch, while we collect money on Tmacs insurance policy." Hard to say much about him not being fit and not practicing with the team when the team never practices and when they do practice it is mostly just scrimmaging anyway. The Rockets have an empty slot on the active roster and refuse to activate him my guess if they activate him then the Rockets would have to pay his full salary for that game otherwise what harm can it do to squeeze him in a blowout loss like yesterday. If he reinjures himself we are back where we are right now and keep collecting on his insurance policy for each game he misses. But it looks like the Rockets are finding their way back to lottery mode this year.

    Better offense = better defense.

Seriously, i'd rather have this gingerly playing McGrady helping this team than rather not having him at all playing.

The organization best interest should be winning, doesn't mcgrady help in that category, as a fan you should be disappointed because if your not playing mcgrady (and he's really healthy as he mentioned), means winning isn't in the first priority.

Absolutely. Brooks struggles when no one else in the starting lineup can take the ball out of his hands. The other team knows if they can trap him, no one else is gonna do anything with the ball. Brooks, Lowry, and Budinger are the only capable ball handlers on the team, that is certainly a problem.

Note that "if he's healthy" is a GIANT if. And I'm disinclined to believe he is.

He only had to have the ball when they brought Rafer in. YT mac played without the ball in Orlando as well when Darrell Armstron was running the point. That was a great team too bad Bob Sura got hurt during that Dallas series. When he got hurt Mike James was bringing the ball up and he could not get the Rockets in their offense.

The Warriors are just generally crap, but go have a look at the Suns record and get back to me.
