I bought that Insignia earlier this month when it was also $100. The Blu Ray picture can pretty grainy, especially in dark scenes. They released an update a few weeks ago that made it better, but it's still kinda grainy. The streaming Netflix HD isn't quite as good as the XBox, it appears more compressed, but that's not really too noticeable. The DVD upconvert is very nice. The device itself is pretty quiet. It works with my Logitech Harmony 550 (remote). So far I haven't bought any Blu Ray's, I just use Netflix. I've heard that some Blu Ray players are slow to load movies and menus, but I haven't noticed any significant delay (maybe 10-15 seconds to load the disc initially). Overall I'm pretty happy with it.
The Samsung 46" TV (and other doorbuster items) at Best Buy is up for sale online at the doorbuster price from the looks of it. If you've been wanting it and not wanting to wake up early or wait in line, you can get it now online.
Hmmm I think the Amazon deal timer is hacked. The Vaio sold out immediately after it was unlocked. Any finds on cheap ~$300 desktops (office, web, music)?
FIFA for PS3 and XBox is available on Amazon for $35 for anyone that still wants it. I may get the Madden for the same price.
They had it online for tomorrow's price today. The only thing they say is they'll have a minimum of 10 at the stores. I'd rather just order the thing online and be assured of getting it (well, hopefully, anyway).
I watched that. I think it took less than 5-10 seconds. Try enabling their One-Click purchasing feature.
Yes. Go through Bing and you may be able to get 5% cashback, too : http://www.bing.com/shopping/pages/stores.aspx
Appreciate the help. Also, DoD do you know if there is a certain amount to how many they have in stock online for the doorbuster deals?
Yes, they'll limit the quantities online, otherwise their warehouses would go empty before Friday comes and they won't have any for in-store sale. What that quantity is varies and isn't published.
